about
the practice
ruuted is a daily practice, and a state of being.
when we let go of the need to achieve something, the nervous system settles and we rest in awareness. that's what it means to be ruuted: connected to our source, our life force.
there are many roads back to who we really are. the ruuted practices aren't new. they're ancient, some of them built into us as humans, and we've forgotten them. movement, embodiment, meditation and breath, trained as one thing, in a small studio in sunningdale, four mornings a week.
the intention isn't to fix you, or get you shredded, lean, toned or ready for hyrox. that comes as a byproduct. what you'll notice after one session is simpler. you'll feel. embodied, settled, and aware of how much movement is available to you, even if you don't yet know how to reach it.
that's where practice comes in. everything is practice. we take it with us when we leave: into how we hold our partner, how present we are with our kids, how we use play to remember who we really are.
i'm ru. i've been doing this for over a decade, and i don't teach from the position of knowing more than you. i learn by watching people move. what i notice in you shows me something i couldn't see on my own. we use each other as mirrors.
the practice is simple on purpose. a mat, a breath, a room, and people next to you who are also trying. it fits in a clubhouse studio, on the grass, on the beach sand, in the body you carry everywhere.
grounded, connected, present.
before ruuted, i built something much bigger: what it taught me

work together
ruuted grows through connection, not competition.
i'm open to collaborating with facilitators, studios, retreats and brands who care about the same things: presence, the body, breath, people meeting each other honestly. joint sessions, guest classes, events, workshops, cross-pollination of practices. if what you do sits next to what i do, we're probably stronger together.
