1.1 Who we are
These terms govern your use of ruuted.co and any class, session, assessment, programme
or subscription you book or buy from us.
Trading name: ruuted
Owner: Ruan Booyens
Location: Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa
Email: info@ruuted.co.za
Website: https://ruuted.co
By booking, subscribing or paying, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do
not use the service.
1.2 What we offer
In-person movement classes held at the clubhouse at Northridge Coastal Estate, Cape
Town
One-on-one coaching sessions by appointment
A movement assessment: a 90-minute diagnostic session, available once per client
Digital subscriptions and programmes delivered online (when available)
Class times, venues and coaches may change. We will give as much notice as we
reasonably can.
1.3 Bookings and payment
All bookings are made through ruuted.co and must be paid for in full at the time of
booking, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable.
Payments are processed by Paystack. We do not receive or store your full card details.
Your booking is only confirmed once payment has been successfully processed and you
have received a confirmation from us.
1.4 Monthly plans
Monthly plans are recurring subscriptions. Your card is charged automatically on the
same date each month until you cancel.
You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid
month, and you keep access until then.
We do not pro-rate or refund part-months.
If a payment fails, we may retry it and may suspend access until payment succeeds.
1.5 Your responsibilities
You confirm that you are medically fit to take part in physical activity, and that you have
consulted a doctor if you have any condition, injury or concern that could be affected by
exercise.
You must tell your coach about any injury, illness, pregnancy, medication or limitation
before the session starts, and during a session if something changes.
You take part at your own pace. You may stop, rest or modify any movement at any time.
You agree to follow reasonable instructions from the coach and the rules of the venue.
1.6 Risk and liability
Physical training carries inherent risk of injury. You take part voluntarily and accept that risk.
To the extent permitted by the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 and other applicable
South African law, ruuted is not liable for any injury, loss or damage arising from your
participation, except where caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct. Nothing in
these terms limits or excludes any right you have that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
We are not responsible for personal property brought to a session.
1.7 Conduct
We may refuse entry to, remove from, or cancel the booking of anyone who behaves
unsafely, abusively or in a way that disrupts a session or breaches venue rules. Where we
cancel for this reason, no refund is due.
1.8 Intellectual property
All content on ruuted.co, and all programmes, videos, audio, written material and class
content, belongs to ruuted. You may use it for your own personal practice. You may not
copy, record, resell, publish or teach it commercially without our written permission.
1.9 Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is always published on ruuted.co, with the
date it was last updated. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated
terms.
1.10 Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. If something goes
wrong, contact us first at info@ruuted.co.za and we will try to resolve it directly. You retain
your rights to refer a dispute to the National Consumer Commission or a relevant ombud.
2. Refund and Cancellation Policy
We want you to be treated fairly. This policy explains what happens when a booking, session
or subscription needs to be cancelled.
2.1 Cancelling a class or session (you)
Cancel more than 24 hours before the start time: full refund to your original payment
method, or a credit for a future session, whichever you prefer.
Cancel less than 24 hours before the start time, or do not arrive: the session is
forfeited and no refund is due. The coach’s time and the venue have already been
committed.
To cancel, use the link in your booking confirmation, or email info@ruuted.co.za. The
cancellation is effective from the time we receive it.
We understand that illness and emergencies happen. If something serious comes up inside
the 24-hour window, contact us and we will consider a credit at our discretion.
2.2 Cancelling a class or session (us)
If we cancel a session for any reason - coach illness, venue closure, unsafe weather, too
few attendees - you will be offered your choice of a full refund or a credit toward another
session. We will tell you as early as we can.
2.3 Monthly plans
Cancel any time. Your plan stops renewing and your access continues to the end of the
month you have already paid for.
We do not refund part-months or unused sessions within a paid month.
Individual missed classes within a monthly plan are not credited or carried over.
2.4 Movement assessment and one-on-one sessions
The 24-hour rule above applies. Because these are booked as dedicated time, a late
cancellation or no-show is charged in full.
2.5 Digital subscriptions and programmes
You may cancel a digital subscription at any time. It stops at the end of the current
billing period and is not refunded pro-rata.
If you cancel within 7 days of your first purchase and have not substantially used or
downloaded the content, we will refund you in full, in line with section 44 of the
Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002.
Where content is faulty, inaccessible or materially not as described, tell us and we will fix
it, replace it or refund you.
2.6 How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are processed through Paystack to the original payment method. Please
allow up to 10 business days for the funds to reflect, depending on your bank. We do not
refund in cash.
